I purchased this for my 6 year old granddaughter who really loved it. After a few days it stopped working and even new batteries would not make it run. As usual, wildly popular toys seem to be made in a shoddy manner, breaking soon after purchase. Too bad these Zhu Zhu pets are so defective as they appear fun to play with (not much educational value.

I don’t know how to rate this toy as I am giving it as a joke gift. My daughter moved out, finally, and the apartment she moved into won’t allow pets. I got her this Zhu Zhu pet and adventure ball as a joke Christmas gift so she can let it run around her apartment while she is veging. I thought her friends would get a kick out this as well. The hamster sounds fun when you press his nose through the package but I did not open the package or try out the hamster. It may not even work but I hope so.

These are wonderful for children of all ages. I wanted to purchase a couple more for x mas but am a discouraged and disappointed in amazon for charging the price they do when walmart carries them for 8.00. I have been a faithful amazon shopper but this is making me rethink where I will spend my hard earned money from here on out.

I had bought this product for a 6 year old little girl. This is something that she had wanted for a long time but was not able to find it anywhere in the stores. I had went online looking for the product and had finally found it. I had the item delivered to her house as a surprise. When the item arrived and she had opened the box she was very excited. This was the one that she really, really wanted. I was glad that I had made a young child very happy.

This toy is known to have injured a child already. The wheels spin fast and change direction randomly. When picked up and held they can severely pinch skin and not release. Hair is very easily caught in the wheels and difficult to remove. I am surprised there have not been many more complaints of injury. I would not recommend this toy at all.
