We bought this for my daughter’s friend who was celebrating her 7th birthday in June. When my daughter gave the birthday girl her present, she seemed very thrilled to discover it was a Puppy in My Pocket. They are smaller and cuter than Littlest Pet Shop and frankly, different. So the birthday girl was happy to receive them over another set of LPS. I was glad that we were able to give her something special.

Got three for a great price here (around five bucks each). Gave two

as presents for five year olds. Big Hit! At one party the girl opened all her presents then went straight back to this one as her immediate favorite. Her grandmother said the girl had asked for one just days before her party. Can’t speak to the durablilty issue since it was a gift, and it doesn’t appear to be intentionally educational, just entertaining. My girls like small things like this to carry around in pockets, purses and backpacks. They’ll get the third one at Christmas!
