I saw this in the Memphis airport for 12 dollars in the store. I did not have time to stop and buy but they had it for 12 dollars plus tax. This vendor is a rip off wanting over 50 dollars for it. And we all thought airport stuff was overpriced.

This is a great toy for my son as he is allergic to cats and dogs and other pets that he wants. He loves this and follows it around the house.

My daughter wanted a real hamster and this toy satisfied that desire! She liked it so much we decided to give it as Christmas gifts to her friends and for gift exchanges. Everyone’s eyes lit up when they opened the gift and started playing with it instantly! It was a unique gift that turned out to be a big hit! Lot’s of people have asked me where to get one.

Great Fun! No educational value whatsoever but the cute factor more than makes up for it. Too soon to know how durable it will be — it cost $11.98 including shipping so it isn’t expected to last for years. Kids and kittens of all ages love it. Works best in the ball — no fibers to get in the wheels, does not run under furniture, and little hands and paws are kept at bay. Self-righting when in the ball, will turn its self off after a while which saves batteries. No cage, no mess, no guilt :) Everyone is very amused by this little toy and I did not get gouged by the Zhu Zhu opportunivors. Win! Win! Win!

I bought this toy as a prop for a play I was directing. It served its role well and my own children found it quite entertaining.

These are about the size of a real hamster and it reminds me of the ones we used to have by the way they change direction in the ball when they run into something. But they are not real enough looking for anyone to freak out about a mouse in the house…probably.

Mine is completely medium-brown except for the pink felt ears.

Batteries: Just needs one AAA which is a big improvement from other toy hamsters. Don’t be afraid to give the battery container a good pull when installing- it’s attached to the inside with velcro. (I thought I broke it for a second.)
