I am shocked that this toy originally sold for $50. It’s not even close to being worth that much. I got it for a vastly discounted price, so I don’t feel quite so ripped off.
It doesn’t do very much for $50, but for less than $20 it is a cute little source of amusement. My 10 month old is fascinated with the sounds it makes and how it moves, but I doubt a child much older would get very much enjoyment out of it, as it is very simple. Also, it is extremely hard to keep mine happy–it scares very easily, even at sounds that are the exact same pitch and volume as ones that just made it coo with pleasure. I can rarely get the button on the top that makes it purr to work–it’s very difficult to find and successfully push in. We’ve played with it for days, and it hasn’t had the baby yet, I suspect either because it’s broken or it will only have it when it’s happy, and that’s impossible to achieve. I envy the people that said the baby came out to easily–I want to take the thing apart and rip it out so I can see what it looks like.

My daughter received this as a gift and it was such a disappointment. It is really really loud and it doesn’t grow like it was described. Also, the baby that was supposed to appear at a later date, was already loose in the box. She played with it for a couple of days, now it’s on a shelf in her room.

For christmas I got a pink fuzz luv and this is the best toy ever! I read other reviews that said they tried to make it dance but they could not.I was able to make it dance by the button on the side. When I got it I wanted to start playing with it because it is so cool. The first day I had a fuzz luv it had a baby. I love fuzz luvs!!! Much more fun than Furby! I had to wait over a year to get it, but it was worth the wait.

i must say that i definitely would not want to pay the full asking price for these little guys, but since i got mine for 15 bucks i am happy with the purchase. it really doesn’t do much but sound like a gremlin and make little gremlin noises and this little baby “falls” out from the underside of it. we had our baby while trying to remove it from the box. my daughter who is 9 enjoyed it but was wanting more. she has been a furby fan and i think she was expecting more out of it. she still liked it, but it will be forgotten soon.

Thie was an absolutely adorable item. My Grand Daughters loved them. There were a couple of drawbacks though. First is the motor noise evertime the Fuzz Luv moves at all and the shedding of the fur. Hopefully the shedding will stop, hopefully before it gets bald spots.
