I am soo glad we didn’t pay much for him. (opened package at good will) I don’t know if it’s broken or what, but he doesn’t roll over. He tries, but can’t make it and the way he squirms and the noises he makes, it doesn’t look kid appropriate when laying on his belly. Really an aweful toy. My 3 year old has him with her stuffed animals, but prefers him off. I would not recommend him. He is cute..but not worth the money.

this one was bought for my youngest son, he likes it, but it mainly sits on his bed, probably because we have 2 real dogs. i thought it was a very cute toy, i played with it and liked how it moved and made noises like a real puppy.

I purchased this toy for a 4 year old girl. She loved the sounds it makes, the fact that it rolls over and wiggles like a real puppy and it is as cute as can be. I recommend it as a gift that will be appreciated for years to come.

I understand the negative comments about this toy. It is not real cushy as far as the insides. The outside, however, is soft. I’m guessing the mechanics do not allow lots of stuffing. My daughter loves it despite that. We do not have a “real” pet other than a fish, so this is a great option for our family. It moves like a squimish little puppy and makes a variety of noises. We have found the actions of the puppy to not be predictable, making it more real-like. My daughter is 5 and believes that the dog is reacting to her play and that the puppy has likes and dislikes. She treats it like a real animal! I paid only $19 for it at Christmas time and feel it has been well worth the money.
